| O Baltic amber is approximately 40 - 60 million years old
and was held dear by many ancient cultures, treasured both for protective and decorative qualities. Inside, the
plant material and insect it has encapsulated, strands of DNA -life's basic code - are also captured. That is why
amber is often referred to as a " Window to the Past." This geological phenomenon was the creative spark
for the movie Jurassic Park, which also caused a surge of popular interest in this gemstone. However, amber has
long commanded the hearts and minds of humans - in fact, it has commanded whole economies. Following are just a

Silver Letter Opener. Designed and made by an artist in Poland. Very original and " forever" present.
It can be engraved in the back with a special date and name. The size of the top - Amber part is 1 1/4 " wide
and 1 1/8" long. The blade is 3/8" wide and 4" long. The whole Letter Opener is 5 7/8" long.
