Amber is the fossilized, hardened resin of
ancient trees. Most of the world's amber is found in the shallow waters of the Baltic sea and averages 50 million
years old.
Yellow and brown are predominant colors of this soft, warm golden gem, with the occasional inclusion of insects
or plants. Only 15 percent of mined amber is suitable for jewelry.
